Mammograms to Screen for Breast Cancer

Mammograms are a necessary screening tool in the fight against breast cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 8 women will face breast cancer in their lifetime. When detected early, the 5-year survival rate is 98%. With the latest 3D imaging systems, our patients receive the most detailed diagnostics possible with significantly less pain and discomfort. In the hands of our skilled team, we can provide a fast and accurate diagnosis, all in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Talk to your doctor to see if a 3D Mammogram makes sense for you.

Diagnosing and Treating Breast Cancer

We encourage women age 40 and older to get an annual mammogram to screen for breast cancer. Our radiologists are skilled in breast imaging and procedures for detecting breast cancer. If additional procedures such as stereotactic breast biopsy, breast MRI, or breast ultrasound are necessary, our team will be there to guide you through. Your provider will review the results with you and if breast cancer is detected, you will be referred for treatment to one of our trusted providers.

Breast Cancer Risk

Age, family history, medical history, weight and lack of physical activity are just a few of the factors that can increase the risk of developing breast cancer. Your provider can help you understand the family traits and your health behaviors that influence your risk of breast cancer.
