Involved in the Community

CHI St. Vincent sponsors a select number of events each year that are strongly aligned with our mission and values. The guidelines outlined apply to community-facing sponsorship requests that represent the CHI St. Vincent brand.

Marathon

Sponsorship is defined as direct financial or in-kind support for special events and may include – though is not limited to – nonprofit agency fundraisers, speaker series and lectures, fun runs and walks, health fairs, or other activities that benefit the local communities we serve.

Sponsorship Guidelines

  1. The event/activity must involve health and wellness that leads to community benefit, health improvement or education.
  2. Sponsorship of a national organization must focus on a local or regional event.
  3. The requesting organization and event must reflect positively on CHI St. Vincent and must provide appropriate visibility and value-added opportunities for CHI St. Vincent, such as logo placement, banners, public service announcements or speaker opportunities.  A wrap-up report and any other items agreed upon in the sponsorship contract must be completed upon conclusion of the sponsorship year.

Application and Selection Process

Request for sponsorship must be submitted through our online request form. Ideally, requests should be at least three months before the event.  Items to include with the form are your IRS documentation of current tax exempt status as well as sponsorship levels.  A committee of hospital leadership convene once a quarter to review, evaluate and make sponsorship recommendations. This process is in place to ensure that all applications are evaluated equally and that approved sponsorships fulfill objectives.
