Neuro-Oncology Symptoms and Treatment

Treatment is based on several factors including the size, location, stage and type of cancer. Your treatment may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy or a combination of these. Our team of skilled professionals at the Arkansas Neuroscience Institute will work with you in making sure you have the best treatment and care available when you’re facing any type of brain cancer, spine cancer or neuro-oncology diagnosis.

Symptoms of brain cancers, spine cancers, tumors and disorders are similar to other conditions of the brain and nervous system. Headaches that are severe and regularly occurring are one of the most typical symptoms. Problems walking, seeing or balancing, back pain, seizures and nausea are also common symptoms. If you experience these symptoms in combination with other symptoms, it may be time to talk with your doctor.
